THE PROJECT

Explore what happens beyond the button.

A desktop game using camera-based hand tracking to translate a physical gesture into a digital action.

The recorded build shows hand landmarks and pinch-based input within a Telecel-themed game. Python, OpenCV and MediaPipe underpin the experiment, connecting a natural movement with a responsive game mechanic.

HOW THE IDEA WORKS

The interaction,
step by step.

01 /

Camera-based input

Tracked hand landmarks provide the foundation for recognizing the player's gesture.

02 /

A pinch to interact

A small physical movement becomes the action that drives the digital experience.

03 /

Learning through play

The working build makes responsiveness, framing and interaction clarity tangible early in development.

CREDITS & CONTEXT

Telecel-themed development study in a Dentsu Ghana context, using Python, OpenCV and MediaPipe. The recording shows a working build, not a deployed installation.
